Easter 2025

This year, Easter came with a few extra surprises. Mainly—Winston.
After the Easter Bunny made a special delivery, the real challenge began: keeping our new puppy from eating everything in sight. Chocolate, foil, plastic eggs, wrapping pape and the trainr—if it was on the floor, Winston would claim it.
To save the morning (and the chocolate), we had to pop him in the bedroom. But Winston was not impressed. He cried and cried, protesting the injustice of being locked away from the action.
The Bunny had gone the extra mile this year—by setting up the duplo train and making it the centre piece of the egg hunt. As usual, Harvey was the first up, eyes wide, he shouted “choo choo” before waking up sissy. Then it became a race of who could get the eggs first. Darcey was quick off the mark, Harvey would stop to devour the eggs as he goes. Mabel waited on the sidelines, tongue out, a little perplexed to the ritual, whinnng slighly but resisting the chocolate temptation like a seasoned pro.
With eggs collected, sugar levels rising, and Winston finally released from solitary, it was time to head to Grandpa’s. A proper Easter catch-up filled with food, family, and a few more treats (this time out of Winston’s reach).
